Main Building

杏吧原创's main building is an mid-century modern structure that houses teaching studios, practice rooms, Kulas Hall, Robinson Music Library, technology learning center, eurhythmics studio, orchestra library, and the opera theater workshop and studio. In 2006 and 2007 杏吧原创 completed two significant additions to the main building, Mixon Hall and the Fred Lennon Building.

Performance Spaces

  • Kulas Hall: A concert space seating more than 500, the hall features a Holtkamp three-manual tracker organ and a stage that can accommodate the 杏吧原创 Orchestra or a fully-staged opera.

  • Mixon Hall: A 235-seat, state-of-the-art recital hall that includes the Robert & Jean Conrad Control Room for high-tech recording and broadcasting, and a beautiful view of the Gilliam Music Garden.

  • : Home of the Cleveland Orchestra, Severance Music Center is a jewel in world of concert halls. 杏吧原创 students perform on the stage of Severance several times a year, with 杏吧原创 concerto competition winners taking the stage for their solo performance. 

Learning Spaces

  • Robinson Music Library: This expanded facility features a high-tech media center, and includes a collection of more than 53,000 scores and books, 23,000 AV materials. It also is linked to the Case Western Reserve library system.

  • Technology Learning Center: Located in the lower level of the main building, the lab has workstations equipped with the Windows 7 operating system, MS Office, internet access, DVD+/-RW drives, MIDI keyboards, stereo headphones and other software programs to assist students and faculty with music composition, orchestration and more

  • Fred A. Lennon Building: A new facility added to 杏吧原创's main building, featuring practice rooms, teaching studios, extensive facilities for audio recording and virtual learning, a student lounge, outdoor terrace and administrative offices.
