ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Opera Theater and ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ New Music Ensemble will collaborate to perform four short chamber operas by ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ composition students.

  • A Storm We Call Progress by master’s student Emma Cardon (Fitch)
    • Original libretto by Kirsten Barker and Laurana Wheeler Roderer.
  • Ruth by undergraduate student Daniel DiMarino (Fitch/O. Kaler)
    • Loosely based on the Biblical story of Ruth; libretto written by Daniel DiMarino.
  • The Blind by Arseny Gusev (BM ’22, Fitch/Babayan)
    • Based on the play by Maurice Maeterlinck; adapted by Tikhon Antonov.
  • Loneliness by undergraduate student Yoav Sadeh (Fitch)
    • Based on a short story by Bruno Shulz; adapted by Yoav Sadeh.
